Obituary for Gary Kuester Gary Fred Kuester II, 53, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at home. He was born on May 9, 1965, the son of Gary Fred Kuester and Betty (Moore) Statema. Gary was an engineer in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Barney.

He was a big U of M fan and always supported them. Gary enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, ice fishing and just being outdoors in general. He loved to go up north and take in the views.

He was the life of the party and had a personality that could crack any bad mood. His high spirits will be missed dearly by all those who knew him. Gary is survived by his Wife of 4 years – Stephanie (Feltner) Kuester; four Sons, Harry (Alyson) Kuester, Christopher Kuester, Brad Kuester, and Kane Kuester; four Step-Sons, Jason Stinson, Cody Stinson, Nicholas Stinson, and Kyle Rose; father-in-law, Steve Feltner, Sr.; brother-in-law, Steven Feltner, Jr.; Grandchildren, Caden, Payton, Lillian, Noah, Brysen, Serenity, Kamron, and a host of friends and other loving family.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Gary Fred Kuester, Sr., Sister, Dawn Kuester, and Mother-in-law, Karen Feltner. A gathering of friends and family will take place. Interment will take place in the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
