Obituary for Gary Lee Boll Another Angel was called home to Heaven on Thursday, November 15, 2018, when Gary Lee Boll, 64, died peacefully at the York Hospital. Born on September 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Ronald E. Boll. Gary was the loving husband and best friend of Robin S. (Burg) Boll, to whom he was married for 37 years.

Gary was a quality control engineer for Harley Davidson and retired after 35 ½ years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to spend time in Potter County, especially at his hunting camp, B&B Rod and Gun Club. He was a member of the Hawk Gunning Club and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Gary’s world was his family and he especially cherished the time he got to spend with his grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, and Autumn. In addition to his wife and grandchildren, Gary is survived by his daughters, Melissa S. Ettinger and her husband, Dusty of York and Jamie L. Boll of York; his son, Shane M. Hershey and his wife, Nicky and three granddaughters of Arizona; his brothers, Baron Boll and his wife, Barbara of York and Tim Boll and his wife, Sherry of York Haven; and his sister, Jody Myers and her husband, Michael of Hanover. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 East Market Street, York.

Interment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gary’s memory may be made to the SPCA of York County, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
