Thomas Reginald Beattie Sr. age 66 entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Lebanon Veteran Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. His earthy life began August 23, 1951 in York, Pa. He was the sixth child of eight children born to the late Leonard Vernon Sr. and Ann Mary(Harris) Beattie.

His love for cars and passion for fixing them, he opened up part of his garage for fixing cars for family and friends. At early age Thomas began his spiritual walk with God as member of Small Memorial AME Zion Church of York, PA he gave his life to the Lord as adult. He is survived by his previous companion & lifetime friend Serena (Sissy) Smallwood; 3 children Thomas Beattie Jr. (Milagros Garcia), Meeshaun Beattie (Michael West) and Shawbooi Smallwood(Ashley); 3 brothers Benson, Gary and Bernard Beattie; 3 sisters Gloria, Connie and Barbara Beattie; 5 grandchildren Thomas III, Tae’jour and Tobias Beattie, Ma’jere West, and Shaelyann Smallwood; 1 great-granddaughter Malani Beattie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Full military rites given by York County Honor Guard. Boulding Mortuary Inc. is handling funeral arrangements.
