Frederick Tyrone Snellings, 47 of York entered into rest on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Fred was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 13, 1970 to the late Marilyn Catherine Snellings. Fred was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School (York) Class of 1988 and he also earned an Associate Degree in Computerized Accounting from YBI in 2006.

Fred served his country and is a Veteran of the United States Navy; he worked for Trans Am LLC Trucking Company as a Dispatcher in Lancaster. Fred was… Read More » an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were football (Pittsburgh Steelers); basketball (NY Knicks) and baseball (NY Yankees) and he was involved with the York Bears Football League for Youth. Fred enjoyed people and being the life of the party, more than anything Fred loved being around and bragging about his family.

Fred is survived by his daughter Tyesha Snellings of York; two brothers Sheldon L. Snellings and Napoleon S. Snellings (Chandell) both of York; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other family members and friends. In addition to his mother, Fred was preceded in death by his brother Carl Anthony Snellings. Full Military Rites will be given by York County Honor Guard.
