Obituary for Edith (Turner) Vannoy Edith (Turner) Vannoy, 94, of York, PA died at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home on November 7, 2018. She was the wife of the late Arnett Vannoy. Born September 12, 1924 in Normantown, Gilmer County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Nettie (Cogar) Turner.

Edith was a former cafeteria worker for Baltimore County Schools for 28 years and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Red Lion, PA. Edith is survived by two daughters, Linda Zornes and her husband, John of York, PA and Zetta Hart and her husband, Douglas of Severn, MD; a son, Michael Vannoy and his wife, of Marcia of NC; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters and a sister, Wanda Duelley of Allentown, PA. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2650 Freysville Road, Red Lion, PA 17356 with the Rev.

Paul N. Frank, officiating. There will be no visitation. A private burial will be held in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, MD at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2650 Freysville Road, Red Lion, PA 17356. Arrangements by the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E.
