Obituary for Mary Lou Millen Mary Lou Millen, 80, of York died November 1, 2018 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Samuel H. Millen. Born June 26, 1938 in York, she was the daughter of the late Lester W.J. and Esther L. (Ensminger) Shepp.

Mary Lou was the founder and operator of Errands, Etc. in York which included pet sitting. She was the bookkeeper for 38 years for her brother, Phil Shepp, at Susquehanna Automatic Sprinklers, Inc. and was also a corporate officer in the company.

She also worked as a medical secretary for Memorial Hospital and a youth coordinator for the American Red Cross. Mary Lou was a 1956 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She attended Elizabethtown College, York Junior College and York College.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in York and was a member and past President of the White Rose Bridge Club. She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael H. and his wife, Linda Millen of York and David H. Millen of York; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ronald and his wife, Mary Hoffpauer of Media and Philip and his wife, Barbara Shepp of York; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market Street, York with the Rev.

Ruth A. Fieldhouse. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
