Calvin Mason Day, Jr. 86 of York entered into rest on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Joanne A. (Greene) Day. Calvin was born August 10, 1932 in Monkton, MD to the late Nina (Haymond) and Calvin M. Day, Sr. Calvin was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict; upon his return home from the military; Calvin gained employment at American Chain Co. (ACCO) working in the Foundry Dept.

In addition to his loving wife Joanne, Calvin leaves to cherish his memory 2 stepsons Leslie Weathers and Robert Davis; 5 stepdaughters Sarah Kearse, Cecilia Davis, Levina McMillan, Pamela D. Sexton (Clair) and Renee Sanderson (Peter); 2 brothers Fletcher Day and Larry (Chic) Day; 3 sisters Dorothy Williams, Doris A. Payne and Kathy Day and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Nina Aimable, John (Doc) Skennonto and Edward A. Day; stepsons Gary Davis, Luther Beatty, Edward Davis, Odell Davis and Granger Reid; a stepdaughter Jennell Dickson and his 1st wife Sylvia W. Day. A viewing will be on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 9-11AM and a funeral service will follow at 11AM at Boulding Mortuary Inc. 471 Madison Ave. , York PA 17404 with Rev.

Anthony Sease, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery, York.
