Dennis Martin, 59 of York entered into rest on Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home. He was the companion of Stephanie Daugherty. Dennis was born in York on August 22, 1959 to the late James Howard and the late Barbara Ann Orr Johnson.

Dennis was a people person and he loved football, lifting weights but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his daughters and grandchildren. In addition to his companion in life Stephanie, Dennis leaves to cherish… Read More » his memory 2 daughters, Nicole Hagans husband Arthur of Harrisburg, PA and Dennaia Carter husband Tremain of Crofton, MD; 5 brothers, Ozzie Martin, Howard Hudson wife Tosha, Harold Hudson, Julius Hudson all of York and Bruce Edwards of Harrisburg, PA; 2 sisters Karen Orr of Harrisburg, PA and Louise Hudson husband Darryl of York; 7 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Denise Martin, Kathy (Martin) Morgan and Bonita Martin.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 11:00AM at Jabez Ministries, 40 Jefferson Ave. , York PA 17404 with Pastor Adrian Boxley, officiating. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9-11AM.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of family.
