He was the husband of Iris Holland with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage. Bruce was born February 10, 1964 to Ethel (Johnnie) Ransome and Bruce Joyner.

He was a 1982 William Penn Sr. High School graduate. Bruce joined the US Air Force after graduation and he has received numerous awards during his 27 years of service. … Read More » In addition to his loving wife Iris and his parents; Bruce leaves to cherish his memories 2 daughters Tiffany Holland of SC and Jeanette Holland of VA; 1 brother Michael Ransome of York; 4 sisters Cheryl Braswell of York, Diane Joyner of VA and Jackie Scott and Jeanette Gunn both of MD and a host of other family members and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by 2 brothers Mark Ransome and Marvin Ransome. A service was held on September 29, 2018 at Everly Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA and burial was in Arlington National Cemetery.
