Obituary for Gary Max Shook Gary M. Shook longtime Grand Ledge resident passed away June 17, 2018. Gary was reunited with his wife Betty Braha who passed away December 23, 2008. Gary was born August 4, 1944 in Coldwater, Michigan to the late Max E. and Marcella L. (Berry) Shook.

Gary graduated from Bronson High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. Gary worked for the State of Michigan retiring in 2007. He loved to play golf and was a talented photographer.

He is survived by sisters, Cheryl (Thomas) Hacker and Marcia (William) Ulmer; nieces and nephews, Craig, Mike, Jamie and Marcie; great nieces and nephews, Alexis, Shelby, Max, Spencer, Nate, Ben along with his cat, Bo. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
