Obituary for Gayle Black Gayle E. Black, 84, of Lewistown, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday July 21, 2018 at Elmcroft of Reedsville. Born June 4, 1934 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Cleon and Gladys (Mann) Cleck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband LeRoy R. Black whom passed away December 12, 2017, and a sister Barbara Courtney.

Gayle will be remembered and missed by nephews, Jack Berryman and wife Elaine of Washington, and Don Berryman and wife Kathy, of Nevada, and sister-in-law, Dorothy “Dot” Berryman, of Reedsville. Gayle was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was employed at Fisher Electronics in Administration.

Earlier in life, Gayle loved riding horses and traveling with her husband. A funeral service in loving memory of Gayle will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, with Rev. John Walters officiating.

There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gayle’s memory are respectfully encouraged to The First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Third St., Lewistown PA 17044.
