OBITUARY Genevieve Janet Durr April 4, 1938 – October 15, 2018 Genevieve Janet (Rayburn) Durr, 80, entered into eternal peace with God on Monday, October 15. She was born on April 4, 1938 in Casey County, Kentucky. Janet worked for Farm Credit Bank, but spent most of her years as a homemaker loving and caring for her family.

She was a devoted member of Concordia Lutheran Church and an avid, long time member of the Cardinal Twirlers Square Dance Club and the extended square dance family. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 62 years, Edward Durr; a daughter, Paula Durr; a niece, Barbara Sorrell (Kenneth); many friends and her Rayborn family members, all who loved her very dearly. The visitation for Janet will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, on Friday from 2-8 pm and on Saturday from 12-1 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1127 East Broadway.

A service to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday at 1pm at the church, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
