George’s Obituary George H. Vandrew Jr., 87 of Enola, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill. Born June 28, 1931, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late George H. and Anna R. (Miller) Vandrew, Sr. George retired from Oberman Sheet Metal, Lemoyne and was the widower of Ruth E. (Orr) Vandrew. Surviving are his wife, Patricia L. (Montgomery) Vandrew; sons, Michael R. Vandrew of Lewisberry, Dr. Alan T. Vandrew and wife Karen of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Nancy V. Craine and husband Darren of Mechanicsburg; 9 grandchildren, Michael R. Jr., Adam, Christopher, Joseph and Kate Vandrew, Jenna Smerling, Nicole Singiser, Lori Berard and Ryan McBurnie; 6 great-grandchildren, Caleb, Georgia, Madelyn, Levi and Belynda Vandrew and Ella Smerling and his sister, Jean Wilson of Winter Haven, FL.

Memorial services will be held 6 :30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg where there will be a visitation from 5:30 p.m. until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Pine Grove Furnace, 10782 Thornwood Rd. , Shippensburg, PA 17257.
