Georgette T. Vigliotti, 92, formerly of Pittsburgh passed away in the early hours of Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Meadville Medical Center, due to a quick onset of illnesses. Born on January 30, 1926 in Brussels, Belgium she was a daughter of the late Pierre and Victoria (DeCremer) Nolis. Georgette lived in the Pittsburgh area most of her life.

She had been employed by the Taste Master Bakery and Alvord Systems in Clairton, retiring in the early 1980’s. She loved playing… Read More » bingo, knitting, crocheting and reading. Georgette survived WWII during which she was forced to work in a German bakery.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Daniel Vigliotti; brother, Lucien Vigliotti; and two infant siblings. Georgette is survived by her children Jenny (William) Page of Conneaut Lake, Shirley (Stanley) Sproull of Kiski Township and Ronald (Susan) Vigliotti of Clairton; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and the beloved sister of her five remaining siblings, Robert Nolis of Belgium, Angela Sapp of Mercer, Andre “Andy” Nolis of Cranberry Township, Lillian Roberts of Clairton and Lucienne Rondeau of West Springfield, MA and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17th from 2:30 – 6:30 pm in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo.

Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation on Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
