Georgia’s Obituary Georgia E. (Karvwnaris) Hemingway, 79, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday at the Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born in Syracuse, she had been a resident of Baldwinsville for the past 40 years. Georgia was devoted to her family and to her Catholic faith.

She volunteered for 15 years for Peace Inc Family Re Center in their food pantry. Georgia was predeceased by her husband Earl J. Hemingway and her son, Roger. Surviving are two daughter Donna (Ronald) Barnes and Patricia Crossman, six sons, Dennis (Denise), Michael, Randy (Laurie).

John, Thomas (Patti) and Earl, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 12th from 4 to 7 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Wednesday in St. Stephen’s Church, 469 Main Street, Phoenix, NY.

The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
