Gerald “Jerry” T. Jeffcoat, 71, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. Born March 18, 1947 in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Robert T. Jeffcoat and Eunice Williams Jeffcoat. Retired as owner and operator of Jeffcoat Painting, Jerry was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to go hunting and fishing with his family, especially his grandson and nephew Tommy Hall.

Survivors include his daughters Michele Jeffcoat, Carol Jeffcoat Mook (Bryan Collins); grandson Jay (Cammie) Mook; great grandchildren Landon Mook, Addison Forsyth; brothers Larry Jeffcoat (Cynthia), Harold Jeffcoat; sister Kathy Smith; along with many nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mr. Jeffcoat will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, 648 St. Matthews Rd. , Swansea, SC, 29160, or to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Dr., Ste. 301, Cayce, SC, 29033.
