Allendale-Services for Ruth Warren Adams, 81, will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel with the Rev. Gene Long officiating. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen, Breast Cancer Foundation 4700 N. University St. Suite 91 Peoria, IL 61614. Mrs. Adams passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Born in Leesville, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Sidney and Nannie Pansy Burkett Warren. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a former SS Teacher. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and retired as a Day Care Operator.

Surviving are her husband, James C. Adams; sons, J. Carrol (Kayla) Adams, Jr. and Tim S. (Nita) Adams; sisters, Frances W. Shaw and Sandra K. Warren; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charlie S. Warren Jr. and C. Larry Warren; and a sister, Louise Rasson.
