Geraldine’s Obituary Graveside services for Geraldine Usry will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Old Bennington Presbyterian Cemetery in Bennington, OK, with Pastor Steve Deaton officiating. Geraldine passed away February 20, 2019, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 81. Geraldine Usry was born December 10, 1937, in Bennington, OK, to Virgil Usry and Mildred (Lloyd) Usry.

She was of the Baptist faith, a member of the First Baptist Church, in Antlers, OK, and had lived in the Hugo and Bennington areas for most of her life. Geraldine enjoyed doing word searches and playing bingo every chance she got. She loved meeting new people and truly never met a stranger.

Geraldine also loved spending the holidays with her great-great niece and nephew, Chloe and Bennett. The family remembers her as, “truly having the eyes of innocence”. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Mildred Usry; two brothers, Homer Lee Usry, and Charles Usry; one sister, Romola Walker. Geraldine is survived by her two sisters, Janice Roberts, of Bennington, OK, and Donelda Blanton and husband, Don, of Midlothian, TX; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
