Gertrude Burns, 99 of Saxonburg passed away on June 28, 2018 at her home Born November 2, 1918 in Culmerville, PA, she was the daughter of William David Norris and Mary Norris. She was a member of Pleasant Unity Presbyterian Church where she volunteered for many church activities. She enjoyed sewing, jewelry making, hand and machine embroidery, reading and antiquing.

Surviving are her son, Richard (Sherrie) Burns of Saxonburg, 3 daughters, Betty Lynch of St. Johns, FL, Ruth DeBlasio of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Barbara (Lew) Radonovich of The Villages, FL, 9 grandchildren, Cathy Washio, Linda Dolan, Lisa Cummings, Lew Radonovich, Jr., David Radonovich, Audra Rezak, Morgan Burns and McKenzie Burns, 12 great-grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Patrick, Heather, Elizabeth, Katie, Keri, Joshua, Julia, Cole, Tate and Jordan. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilmer Burns, 2 brothers, Howard Norris, Charles Norris, 1 sister, Ethel Knoch, grandson, David Lynch, great-grandson, Joseph Radonovich Friends will be received on Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 12:00-1:30 pm at Fox Funeral Home, Inc., Saxonburg, PA.

Funeral services will follow at 1:30 with Chaplain Marsha Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Unity Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Unity Cemetery Fund 188 Millerstown Road Tarentum, PA 15084 or Heritage Hospice 2400 Leechburg Road #300 New Kensington, PA 15068.
