Ginger Lee Arp June 03, 1970 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ginger Lee Arp, 48, of Tama, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at UnityPoint Health-Grinnell Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Waltham Cemetery in rural Elberon.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home. Ginger was born on June 3, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred Arnold Sr. and Carol Irene (Snooks) Arp. She graduated from South Tama High School in 1992.

Ginger worked at the Genesis Home, Jiffy South and Casey’s. She had previously worked at Sunny Hill Care Center as a cook. Ginger loved to write poetry, stories and make crafts.

She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and music. She especially liked old-time country music, Duran Duran and The Everly Brothers. Ginger loved her friends and was always willing to help out.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Carol (Teddy) Dickover of Poplar Bluff, MO; two brothers, Alfred Arnold Arp Jr. of Tama, and Rueben Lee Steinmark of Poplar Bluff, MO; and one sister, Corky Lou Steinmark of Buffalo, MO. She is also survived by two nieces and one great-niece. She was preceded in death by her father.
