Glena’s Obituary South Berwick – Glena Sparks, 49,passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 31, 2018. Born in Abilene, Texas, on August 31, 1969, the beloved daughter of Henry and Catherine Lago. She is survived by her mother, Catherine Lago of South Berwick; her daughter, Catherine Haggerty, of South Berwick; her son Daniel Haggerty of South Berwick; her son, Colton Sparks, Lance Corporal of the United States Marine Corps; her brother, Don Lago, of Roundrock, Texas; Brother and wife Robert and Della Lago of Dahlonega, Georgia; brother and wife Tommy and Donna Lago of Louisville, KY; Brother and wife Bill and Tracey Lago of North Berwick; Brother Edward Lago of North Berwick; Sister, Sissy Gaunya of Barrington, NH; sister and husband Cathy and Paul Bundy of Midway, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her Father, Henry Lago; her Niece, Lily Lago; and her ex husband, Scott Sparks. Glena was a free spirit who loved cooking, parties, traveling, reading, (especially Alice in Wonderland), and she was also an astonishing writer. She had the ability to light up an entire room, and had the most contagious laugh.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and admired her kids. Glena also loved her daughter’s dog, Roscoe, and spent a lot of time playing with him. All friends and family are invited to join us in celebration to honor Glena’s life.

Let’s have a good time like she would have wanted! A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 13th at 1:30 p.m. at the J.S.Pelkey Funeral Home at 125 Old Post Road in Kittery, Maine, 03904, followed by a Celebration Of Life at 3p.m. At the Stage Neck Inn at 8 Stage Neck Road in York Harbor, Maine. Care of the Sparks family has been entrusted to J S Pelkey Funeral Home.
