Glenn Richard Waber died peacefully during his sleep in Terre Haute, IN on November 16, 2018. He is survived by his son Daniel Glenn (Jennifer Hill) Waber of Akron, PA, his ex-wife and forever friend Terry Waber, a younger brother Philip (Claudia) Waber of Mansfield, PA, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius M and Pearl M Waber, his daughter Marjorie, his first wife Marlea, and his older brother Julius (Jules) Robert (Bob) Waber.

Glenn (Red, Moots) was born in Great Falls MT on February 22, 1939, the second of three children. He attended schools in Great Falls and St Paul, MN where he was a playground yo-yo and freckle contest champion. He was a hockey player in St Paul and after moving back to Great Falls he was a goalie for the Great Falls Americans in an international hockey league.

He was an avid motorcycle fan and mechanic. He rode with a regional bike group that included hockey rival Robert “Evel” Knievel. In later years some of his best times were salmon fishing on Lake Michigan on his boat the Tika II.

Glenn began his professional career as a baker, but went to night school in MN at Brown Institute where he became an electronics whiz. He holds several patents dealing with noise pollution measuring devices. He traveled extensively to Asian and European countries as a consultant.

Upon retirement, he moved to Deer Lodge, MT and lived and worked on a small ranch in the valley. Due to health issues he then moved to Terre Haute, IN. DeBaun Funeral Home assisted with cremation.
