Gloria Ann Hamm formally of The Woodlands, TX passed away on November 23, 2018 at the age of 80 years, 4 months, 18 days. She was born on July 5, 1938 in Iowa Park, TX, a daughter of Phineas Bresee and Grace Irene Harnish Lewis. Surviving Gloria are three sons; Kevin (Rhonda), Kurt (Stacy), and Casey Hamm, two brothers; Wendell (Marlene) and Clinton (Meg) Lewis, eight grandchildren; Jennifer Travis, Taylor Hamm, Kylie Hamm, Logan Hamm, Kathryn Hamm, Jamie Hamm, Laura Hamm, and Donnie Davis, six great grandchildren; Dean Travis, Elise Travis, Evelyn Hamm, Jayden Hamm, Elijah Hamm, Riley Davis, and a host of loving family members and dear friends.

Gloria was a 1956 graduate of Ironton high school, in May of 1986 Gloria received her BA in liberal studies and in December 1988 she received her masters in counseling education. She was employed by the K-12 school district in Bunker, MO as the school counselor. She then owned her own private practice in Fredericktown.

When she left her office in Fredericktown, she then went to work for the DePelchin Childrens Center in The Woodlands, TX until she retired. Gloria had a passion to sing and was in a singing group called “The Woodlands Sweet Hearts”. She loved to spend time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by all. A celebration of life will be held for Gloria on March 11, 2019 at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox foundation of Parkinson’s disease.
