Gordon Timothy Wheelock “Uncle”-2/12/1963-4/20/2018 West Gardiner-Gordon Timothy Wheelock “Uncle” passed unexpectedly in his sleep. He was always a hard worker even as a kid and a bit of a wild man. Those of you who’ve encountered Gordon know what a presence he is wherever he goes.

Though he always portrayed a tough guy exterior, those who know him best, know what a huge, kind heart he had. Especially, he has a weak spot for dogs, kids, the underdogs and they loved him for it. Many who were no relation called him uncle.

He will be sadly missed by many friends of whom the number is too vast to be named. You know who you are. He is survived by his wife Leta and his son Lance.

Being the youngest of 19 children, with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, “Gordie” was always a favorite. We love you and will miss you always. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday April 24th 3:30-6pm at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Avenue Gardiner, Maine.
