It is with great sadness the family of Linda Marie Warren Lawrence of Pittston, Maine, announces her passing away suddenly at 73 years old on May 27, 2018. She was at camp in Bingham, a place she has always loved to spend her time. Linda was born in Gardiner, Maine January 14, 1945.

She attended Gardiner schools. She married Charles Lawrence Sr. on March 11, 1977. Known to most as Gramma or Lin, her life was full between raising kids, gardening, farming, and canning, as well as caring for a multitude of barnyard animals over the years.

She took enormous pride in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Fishing and hunting, snowmobiling, canoeing and kayaking were favorite activities, and she was always the biggest cheerleader of her kids and grandkids at the racetrack. A tomboy from the time she was a little girl, her love for the outdoors inspired us all.

She leaves behind 27 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren, as well as two great-great grandchildren, her brothers, Melvin, Harold, and Stanley Warren, her sisters Judy Nichols and Roxie Hall, and scores of nieces and nephews, as well as so many other family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis Damon Warren Norton and Harold Warren Sr., her beloved brother Robert Warren and young sister Janice Warren.

A celebration of life will be held at her home in Pittston, Maine on June 10, 2018 at 1PM. She is greatly loved and will be very much missed by everyone she has touched over the years.
