Grant Harrison Bowen, beloved son and best friend, passed from this world on Tuesday November 13, 2018. Granty, Granticus, Granto, or G, as he was known by those who loved him, Monkey and Squirt by his parents, is the son of Rachel Gibson Bowen and Jeffrey Harrison Bowen. Grant was a brilliantly gifted guitar player and deeply cherished all things relating to technology. We are so incredibly proud of the young man Grant became and honored to have been a part of his life. Grant is survived by his mother, Rachel G. Bowen and his father, Jeffrey H Bowen.

He is also survived by his aunt Kim Adkerson, uncle Scott Adkerson, step mother Donna Moss, and cousins Dustin Marshall and Drew Marshall. He is also survived by his grandparents, Woody and Debi Gibson. A special shout out from his pups, especially his beloved Patrick.

In addition, Grant was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Dempse and Sandra Bowen, and Glenn and Phyllis Philpott. The family will receive friends and family at his residence, 107 Thomas Court, Danville, VA. Visitation will be held at Norris Funeral Services, Mt.

Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Tpk. , Danville, Va. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. with a Memorial Service following immediately after at 2 p.m. Services will be pastored by Randall Waller.
