Obituary for Harlos “Harley” Tackett Funeral services for Harlos “Harley” Tackett, 77, of Frankfort, will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at North Frankfort Baptist Church with Rev. David Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home and Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church.
Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Frankfort. Harlos died at home on Wednesday, surrounded by family and friends. A native of Stewart, KY, Mr. Tackett worked as a machinist for Illinois Tool Works Inc. Harlos is the son of the late Rufus Tackett and Pearl Mullins Tackett.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Brook Boylen, Augusta Branham and Lavitta Tackett, and brothers, Rendal, Delano, Elby and Milburn Tackett. Survivors include his wife, Connie Rose Tackett; sons, Ronald and Tommy Tackett; daughter, Mary Ann (Jon) Dailey; grandsons, Stephen Tackett, Scott Thomas Tackett and Connor Dailey; a great- grandson, Haden Tackett, all of Frankfort. Also included are brothers, Phillip (Lori) Tackett of Jenkins, Carlos (Georgia) Tackett of Pikeville, Julius Tackett of Morristown, TN, and Challie Tackett of Hamilton, OH; a sister Lois (Worlie) Newsome of Andrews, IN, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
