Harmon Thetford Holdenville, Oklahoma Graveside services for lifelong Holdenville resident, Harmon Thetford, will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Holdenville Cemetery with Roy Deering officiating. Mr. Thetford passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the age of 94. Harmon was born February 14, 1924 in Holdenville, OK to LE and Hattie (Brittain) Thetford.

Harmon married his love, Leola Faye (Robinson) on January 9, 1948 in Holdenville, OK. Harmon and Leola enjoyed a lifetime of working together. Harmon and Leola while attending a tent revival in Quincy, California both became Christians and were baptized together.

He later became a member of the Church of Christ. Harmon often would visit the sick and those in the nursing home. Going to auctions was one of his favorite pastimes.

He also enjoyed fishing and growing a garden. Harmon is survived by his two sons, Jim Thetford of Holdenville and Rick Thetford and his wife, Cindy, of Holdenville; six grandchildren, Angela, Anthony, Aric, Michael, Bobby and Justin; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; siblings Weldon Thetford of Holdenville, Barbara Grier of Wichita, Kansas as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Leola Thetford.
