Harold Eugene Troutman, 89, of Concord, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 5, 2018 at PruittHealth -Town Center in Harrisburg. Harold was born April 15, 1929 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Lewis S. Troutman and the late Ida Stancil Troutman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ridenhour Troutman; brothers Marvin, Carl, Leonard, Howard and sister Ann.

Survivors include sons, Glenn A. Troutman and wife Teresa; Roger Troutman and wife Kathi; Mark Troutman and wife Tiffany; grandchildren Lisa, Chad, Justin, Jennifer, Jessica, Sammie, Amelia and Julia; great grandchildren Brooke, Molly, Mika, Elliot and Reagan; brother, Bill Troutman and wife Hilda; sister, Louise Smith and husband Hilton; sister, Jean Clontz and husband Gary; sister-in-law Betty Troutman; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Troutman proudly served in the United States Army. He worked for Paul Campbell Sealtest Distributors and retired from Fieldcrest Cannon in 1994.

Harold loved his family, friends and church. He enjoyed working in his garden and sharing his harvest with others. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, Monday, October 8, 2018 at Cold Springs United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm, officiated by Rev. Tony Bell.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cold Springs United Methodist Church, 2550 Cold Springs Road, Concord, NC 28025. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Troutman family.
