Obituary for Harrill Rush Sheppard Blacksburg — Harrill Rush Sheppard, 83, of 250 Caveny Road, passed away Saturday, July 28th, 2018, at his home. Born in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the widower of Letha Caveny Sheppard and the son of the late John Sheppard and Macie Edith Randall Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard retired as a Supervisor in textiles and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

He was a wonderful carpenter and he could do about anything. Mr. Sheppard is survived by two sons, Craig Sheppard and wife, Lynn, of Boiling Springs, SC and Chris Sheppard and wife, Wanda, of Blacksburg; one daughter, Beth Self and husband, Kenny, of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Whitney Palmer, and husband, Austin, Sara and Alison Self, and Rebekka and Maura Sheppard; and one great-grandchild, Paislee Beasley. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Frances Caveny and Carolyn Roberts, and his brothers, Don, Charles, and Randy Sheppard.

Graveside services will be on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold Beam officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at Antioch Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
