Harry Chestley Alderdice, Jr., age 89 of Lewisburg, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at NHC Lewisburg. Mr. Alderdice was a native of Lewisburg, and he was the son of the late Harry Chestley, Sr. and Lubbie Thompson Nowlin Alderdice. He was a retired teacher, a photographer for many years, a member of the Eagleville Primitive Baptist Church, and a Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Katherine Clark Alderdice of Lewisburg, two daughters, Kathey Alderdice Weaver of Estill Springs and Mary Lisa Ring of Chapel Hill, son, Harry Michael Alderdice of Lewisburg, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Lone Oak cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Eagleville Primitive Baptist Church, in care of Millard Johnson, 1205 California Drive, Murfreesboro, TN 37219.
