Helen Louise Brown, age 77 of Hardinsburg, KY died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in McQuady, KY on July 1, 1940, the daughter of the late William and Sudie Rusher Morris. She was a retired cook who worked at Cova’s Kirv In for several years.

She enjoyed fishing, hunting, family time and card games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Brown and sisters Georgie Williams and Dorothy Weatherford. Louise is survived by 3 children: Terry Grandfield of Statesville, NC, Steven Grandfield of Hardinsburg, KY and Dawn Fuqua (Scott) of Guston, KY 6 grandchildren:Terry Grandfield, Jr, Tyler Grandfield, Dustin Sanders, Brandon Fuqua, Emily Fuqua and Willow Ray Aileen Parker 3 brothers – Julius Morris of McDaniels, KY Bobby Morris of Balltown, KY and Danny Morris of Maine 3 sisters – Alice Morris, Jenny Stilwell and Jean Brown of Hardinsburg, KY Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 12 PM.

Burial will be in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy are requested to the Louise Brown Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
