Obituary for Helen (Williams) Tittle Helen (Williams) Tittle, age 78, of Erwin passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Unicoi County Hospital. A native of Erwin, Helen is a daughter of the late Dillard Emmit and Elizabeth (Jones) Williams. She was a member of Erwin First Pentecostal Church.

She loved her grandchildren very much. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by: her husband, Dwight Laverne Tittle; Daughter, Kimberly Kay Edwards; Grandson, Jack Richard Thomas, III; Sisters: Rosie Lee Williams Tilson, Dorothy May Williams, Ola Williams Cooper and Arlena Williams Hosey; brothers: Odas Williams, Coy Williams, Grady Williams, Thamer Williams, Avery Williams and Robert Williams. Helen (Williams) Tittle leaves behind to cherish her memory: Daughters: Penny Pivato, Judy Callahan Bacon and husband, David, Christy Callahan Bailey and husband, Joey; Son: J.D. Edwards and wife, Pam; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Helen (Williams) Tittle in a funeral to be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. Adam Fann will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by the Miller family and by Helen’s grandson, Benjamin Edwards.

A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 and will continue until service time in the chapel at Valley Funeral Home. A committal service will be held in Edwards Cemetery on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Those attending will meet at Edwards Cemetery by 10:50 AM for the service.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Helen’s grandsons. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
