Mr. Herman Elias Miller, age 84, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital of Pensacola, FL. Mr. Miller was born in Chamblee, Ga. , on August 26, 1934 to Mr. Frank Miller and Mrs. Leila Banister.

He was raised in Chamblee, Ga. , and attended Chamblee High School. Mr. Miller served in the United States Marine Corp.

and served a tour of duty during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Miller married Mrs. Gaynelle Miller on February 7, 1955 and lived in Norcross Ga the majority of their married lives until they retired to Gulf Breeze, Fl. They enjoyed retirement for many wonderful years, walking on the beach in the morning and by the bay in the evenings.

Mr. Miller loved spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing with family and enjoyed working in the yard. He was preceded in death by both his wife of 63 years and his parents; his sisters, Edith Miller Wozniak, Ruby Miller Jones, Francis Miller Toole, Marie Miller Baxley; his infant son, Mitchell Timothy Miller; his grandson, Mitchell Miller; and his granddaughter, Kelli Miller. He is survived by his sister Louis Miller Kembro and brother-in-law Charles Foster, his son Michael Miller and wife Kim Miller, his son Eric Miller and wife Beth Miller and daughter Tina Miller; five grandchildren, Michael Miller, Misty Miller, Robert Miller, Jacob Miller and Jessica Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Bill Head Funeral Home in Duluth, Ga. Graveside service to follow immediately after at Harold Grove Cemetery, Chamblee, GA.
