Ida Lena Bruner, age 97 of Garfield, KY died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at North Hardin Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Custer, KY on September 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Alfred and Lilly Oliver Triplett. She was a member of Custer United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bruner enjoyed cooking, gardening and the everyday tasks of a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman F. Bruner, sister – Lillian Ward and brothers – Morris, Alexander and Alfred Triplett. Mrs. Bruner is survived by her son: Boyce Bruner and his wife Zandra of Mount Washington, KY daughter: Sharlene Rose of Westfield, IN 3 grandchildren: Kerry Bruner, Kimberly Rose and Spencer Rose 2 great grandchildren: Elijah and Elliott Erghott Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11 AM.

Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4:30 – 8 PM and Friday after 8 AM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Custer United Methodist Church.
