Ivor Leslie Lewis, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018. He was born to the late Samuel and Ann (Bernstein) Lewis on May 28, 1929, in Dublin, Ireland. A year after immigrating to the United States, Ivor married Helen Bailin on October 28, 1956.

He took great pride in his Irish heritage and Jewish faith. Ivor is survived by his wife, Helen; his daughters: Donna Lewis, Anita Lewis, and Rachel (Larry) Missling; grandchildren: Maya Volovets, Hannah (Abe) Dickison, Elijah Mader, Brianah Mader, Mariah Mader, and Aaron Missling; his sister: Rochelle (William) Magidson; his sisters-in-law: Teena Lewis, Marie Lewis, and Violet Bailin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Brettschneider Funeral Home, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the American Diabetes Association and/or Chabad of the Bay Area.
