J. Michael Rubbe, 60, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday in Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late James J. and Cornella “Mona” (Sorbera) Rubbe. Surviving are a sister, Ann Marie Rubbe in New York; and a brother, David P. of Altoona.

Michael was a self-employed artist and a musician in several bands. He attended St. Mary Church, Hollidaysburg. He enjoyed art and music.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg. Committal will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville, by Father Anthony J. Legarski.
