Obituary for “Jack” Edwin Dwight Frazer Edwin D. (Jack) Frazer, 87, ended his earthly journey November 15, 2018, after losing his battle with cancer. Funeral services will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt with John Hamm and Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. Burial with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt, KS.

Visitation will be Saturday, 9:00-8:00 and Sunday 1:00-8:00, with family visitation Sunday 6:00-8:00. Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn (Powell) Frazer of the home; daughters Karen (Dale) Nixon of Leawood, Kansas, Cathy (Roger) Blasi, Sandy (David) Foster, both of Pratt, and Patricia (Mike) Benz of Independence, MO; sister Barbara Patterson, Lenexa; nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son Thomas, his parents, and siblings Robert Frazer and Betty Woodard.

Born on March 17, 1931 in Glasco, Kansas to Ralph and Dora (Epley) Frazer, Jack lived in St. John and Garden City before moving to Pratt. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He then became a long-time employee of Dillon Food Stores working as a butcher and manager of the meat department.

Upon moving to Wichita he worked for Swissburger Meats before he and Evelyn returned to Pratt at retirement. As a member of the First Christian Church, Jack was honored with Elder Emeritus status for his years of dedication and commitment to serve. He volunteered as a Boy Scout leader in his younger years.

He was a past member of the Albert Pike Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory Midian Shrine, and the Shrine Tin Lizzie Parade Unit. He became very active in working with the Shriners to support crippled children hospitals. Jack loved to fish, hunt, garden, and visit with everyone he met, friend or stranger.

Remembrances may be designated to the Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy or to the First Christian Church of Pratt in care of Larrison Mortuary.
