James’ Obituary James Clayton Jenkins, 68, of Delaplane, Virginia, died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home. Mr. Jenkins was born December 19, 1950 in Sperryville, Virginia, son of the late Ennis and Della Jenkins. He worked for VDOT as a traffic signal technician and supervisor.

He served in the U. S. Army for 20 years. He married Kathy Jane Jenkins on November 24, 1985 in Sperryville, Virginia. Mrs. Jenkins died on May 6, 2005.

Surviving are two sons, Jamie James Jenkins and his wife, Jennifer, of Delaplane, VA and James Clayton Jenkins, Jr. of Luray, VA; daughter, Sandra Jenkins Sisk of Wilmington, NC; and nine grandchildren. Services will be private.
