Robert’s Obituary Robert Lawrence Rose, 79, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Thursday, February 14, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Rose was born June 30, 1939 in Gary, West Virginia, son of the late Kirby Lincoln Rose and Cecil D. Presley Rose. He was a retired tow truck driver.

He served in the U. S. Navy from 1957-1963. He married Jean Kimble Rose in March of 1987 in Woodbridge, Virginia. Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Amy Rabren, Theresa Leatch, Christine Emory, and Cathy Pound; and five sons, Kirby Rose, Larry Rose and Billy Michael Rose, and John Collins II and Daniel Collins.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P. M. Monday, February 18, 2018 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Stephens City, Virginia with Pastor Paul Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, White Post, Virginia with military honors provided by the Clarke County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P. M. Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
