Granville’s Obituary Granville Lee Feathers, 81, of White Post, Virginia, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 in the Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Virginia. Mr. Feathers was born January 14, 1938 in Strasburg, Virginia, son of the late Kenneth National Feathers and Virginia Louise Middleton Feathers. He was a Pastor at The Little Country Tabernacle in Strasburg and Maurertown, VA.

He was employed and retired as a machine operator at M. J. Grove Lime Company in Stephens City, VA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and fellowship with the congregation at church. He married Shirley Conard Feathers on September 9, 1978 in Strasburg, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife are a son, Vernon Carlson and his wife, Josie of Winchester, VA; daughter, Rebecca Jenkins and her husband, Stephen, of White Post, VA; grandchildren, Samantha Price, Alex Carlson and Stephen Jenkins, Jr.; sisters, Nancy Thomas of Strasburg, VA, Ethel Showman and her husband, Geary, of Woodstock, VA and Jeanette Unger of Arkansas; brother, Earl Feathers and his wife, Sue, of Elliston, VA; and a special nephew, Chris Miller of New Market, VA. His son, Jeffery Feathers, and sister, Rachel Ramirez, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P. M. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Stephens City, VA with Pastor James Jones, Pastor Donald Bradley and Pastor Steve Schetrom officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Strasburg, VA. The family welcomes friends and loved ones for a time of food and fellowship following the burial at Bethel Assembly of God, Front Royal, VA. Pallbearers will be Steve Jenkins, Oliver Salcedo, Scott Strosnider, Wally Martin, David Gurley and Alex Carlson.
