Elmer’s Obituary Elmer Eugene Hillyard, Jr., 65, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in a local nursing home. Mr. Hillyard was born February 23, 1953 in Winchester, Virginia, son of the late Elmer E. Hillyard, Sr. and Louise Audrey Carroll Hillyard. He was a truck driver.

Surviving are his son, James N. Hillyard and his wife, Ashley, of Stephens City, VA; brothers, Allen Hillyard of Strasburg, VA and Leo Hillyard of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Nathaniel Smith and Cameron Conner; step-daughter, Amy McFarland; nephews, Cody Hillyard and Jason Hillyard; niece, Samantha Trussell; great-nephew, Destin Hagans; and his former wife, Karen Girgenti. Services will be private.
