James David Heaton April 18, 1959 – January 23, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences James David Heaton, 59, Elizabethton passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 In the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Hammond, Indiana, he had lived in Elizabethton for several years. He was an employee of American Water Heater.

James was preceded in death by his mother: Shirley Temple Heaton. Survivors include his father & step-mother: James & Charlotte Heaton. A Brother: Johnny Ray Heaton, Elizabethton.

His Sister & brother-in-law: Lori & Bill Barnett, Elizabethton. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park.

Active Pallbearers will be: Bill Barnett, David Hoteling, Craig Heaton, Walter Heaton, Daniel Barnett and James Stevens. No flowers please instead make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4255.
