Johnny Lane Eggers April 08, 1968 – January 06, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Johnny Lane Eggers, 50, of Gray, passed away unexpectedly at the Johnson City Medical Center on January 6, 2019. He was born in Wuerzbung, Germany but lived most of his lived in Carter County. Mr. Eggers was the son of the late Lanny Eggers.

He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lane and Amanda Eggers and maternal grandparents, John and Trudy Childers. Mr. Eggers was a master carpenter and fisherman. He enjoyed his family and spending time with them.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Michelle Lee Eggers, mother, Gail Weems of Elizabethton. His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rick and Judy Davis of Jonesborough ; Step-mother, Kim Eggers of Elizabethton. Two sons, Michael Eggers and wife Ashlee of Elizabethton, Zebulun Eggers of Knoxville.

His brothers, James Eggers of Elizabethton, Billy Weems Smith of Knoxville, and Travis and Todd Moreland of Elizabethton. Brother-in-law, Ricky Davis of Kingsport. Three grandchildren, Kayden, Trystyn, and Gwendolyn Eggers all of Elizabethton.

Special niece and nephew, Lily and Jackson Davis of Kingsport, as well as, several other nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles. Special Fur Baby- Blu. Memorial Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Josh Carr officiating and James and Anita Carr providing the music.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www. memorialfcelizabethton.com.
