Kathy Sue Dunn May 24, 1962 – January 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Kathy Sue Davenport Dunn, 56, Butler, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Born May 24, 1962 in Elizabethton to the late Charles Maynard & Norma Jean Smith Davenport. She was a graduate of Hampton High School.

She loved to work with crafts, especially building birdhouses and enjoyed her animals and cooking. Kathy was a member of Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Keith Smith.

Survivors include her husband: Clint Dunn. One Brother: George Davenport & wife Melissa. Three Sisters: Phyllis Campbell & husband Keith, Judy Henson & husband Donnie and Connie Fenner.

Several nieces & nephews and her dog Sadie Mae. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Morefield officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Kathy to the Mission Fund, Vaught’s Gap Baptist Church % Steve Hodge, Treasurer, and 152 Sandy Road, Mountain City, Tenn. 37683.

It was her wish to be cremated. Friends may also visit at the home of any family member. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.
