Shirley McKinney January 23, 1955 – February 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Shirley Ann Davis McKinney, 64, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Bristol Regional Hospital after an extended illness. Born January 23, 1955 in Johnson City to the late Cecil B. & Mamree Melva Miller Davis. She was a graduate of Unicoi County High School.

Mrs. McKinney was a homemaker. Her hobby was quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Joyce Davis.

She was a beloved member of the community and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Jessica McKinney. Her Grandchildren: Rickey McKinney, Aubrielle Quillin and Lucas McKinney.

Her brothers: Van & Bob Davis. Her special friends & family Debbie Hyder, Wanda Hyder, Sue Jones and Janice Bennett Harrell. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev.

Ted Lewis officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in the Street Cemetery (Oak Hill). Active Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rick McKinney, Nolan “Smitty” Smith, David Nidiffer, Ed Miller, Ted Lewis and Don Stamper. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to William Valdez, Paul Jones, Mark Miller and the staff of ICU Johnson City Medical Center and the staff of 5th floor and ICU Bristol Regional Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of Wanda Hyder. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our web-site www.
