Obituary for James E. Steel James E. Steel, 43, of Fortville, passed away on December 26, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on November 5, 1975 in Milford, Massachusetts and resided in Fortville. He worked as the Seafood Department Manager for Kroger.

He was a member of Trinity Church in Fishers. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, New England Patriots fan, traveling, playing guitar, studying sports stats, and was a devoted animal lover. He loved his country and Scotland, his country of heritage.

James is survived by his loving wife Lisa (Wuori) Steel; father, Alexander Steel; mother, Betty Steel; siblings, John (Michelle) Steel, Alexander (Tara Sherman) Steel; grandmother, Theresa Dunbar; father-in-law, David Wuori; brother-in-law, Steven (Diane) Wuori; sister-in-law, Barbara (Joseph) Pattavina; nephews, Camden Steel; Joshua Sherman, Evan Steel, David Pattavina, Daniel Pattavina, John Wuori, Theodore Wuori, Andrew Steel; nieces, Elizabeth Steel, Pamela Wuori; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eldon Dunbar, John Steel, Jemima Steel; mother-in-law, Evelyn Wuori; cousins, Chad Dunbar, Robert Steel; aunts, Jo-ann Garrett, Donna Letondress; uncles, Adam Steel, and John Steel. Visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Trinity Church, 11721 Olio Road Fishers, IN 46037 Services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 31, 2018, at the church, with Pastor Matthew Hines officiating.

Cremation & Burial of Cremated Remains will take place in The Gardens at Willowcrest Park, Anderson at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Animal Protection League or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. www.
