James Earnest Logan March 28, 1952 – February 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card JAMES EARNEST LOGAN, 66, of 120 North Davis Drive, Danville, VA, passed on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born March 28, 1952 in Pittsylvania County, VA, a son of the late Beatrice Logan Walker and the step-son of the late James Walker. He was married to Doris Barley Logan, who survives.

In addition to his wife of the residence, he is survived by three daughters, Lisa Offley (Jon) of Ellicott City, MD, Leslie Barley of Danville, VA and Anjanette Farmer (Corey) of Blairs, VA; four sons, Christopher Barley (Trina) of Ellicott City, MD, Torri Barley (LaShawn) and Omar Barley both of Danville, VA and Reginald Barley (LaKesha) of Winston Salem, NC; sisters, Dorothy Jean Hailstock (Napoleon), Nancy Waller, Shirley Washington, Sandra Walker all of Danville, VA, Marilyn Saunders-Jones, Jeanette S. Poteat, Marcia Y. Saunders, Pamela S. Brooks, Joyce E. Edmonds, Vanessa S. Gunn (Larry), Kathy D. Fallen and Sharon Rogers (Tony); brothers, James Walker, Jr. and Keith Walker (Michelle), both of Danville, VA, Lynwood Saunders (Darlene), Wallace Saunders (Eunice), Raymond Saunders and Thomas Saunders and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Quinten Barley. The family will receive friends at the residence.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 1 PM from Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan L. King, Sr., Eulogist. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Family visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 4-5 and public visitation from 4-8 from Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Logan family.
