Victor James (Jimmy) DeHart, Sr., 73, of 805 Neal Davis Road, Ringgold, VA went home to be with the Lord in SOVAH Health of Danville on Friday, March 1, 2019 after being declining health for the past several years. Jimmy was born in Roanoke Virginia on August 14, 1945. His parents were the late Walter P. Holsten and Barbara Ellen Redden.

He had lived all of his life in Danville and Pittsylvania County. He operated a convenience store until his retirement due to his health. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Melissa DeHart Dennis (Philip) of Danville, VA, Cristi DeHart Motley (Patrick), two sons, Victor James DeHart, Jr., Greg DeHart (Emily) and his former wife and friend Judy DeHart all of Ringgold, VA. , one brother Walter P. (Skeeter) Holston, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, five Grandchildren & two Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, & one brother, David Lynn DeHart.

A Private Memorial Service will be conducted on a later date for Jimmy. The family will be at the residence of Greg & Emily DeHart, 795 Neal Davis Drive, Ringgold, VA 24586.
