James Jacob Matthew Foster, 18, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born November 13, 2000 in Evansville to Rebecca and Sean Datzman. JJ always had a smile on his face.

He was everyone’s Batman. He enjoyed attending Harrison High School as a junior. JJ loved going to the Fall Festival every year with his pal, Rob.

Most of all JJ loved spending time with his family. JJ is survived by his mother, Becky (Sean) Datzman; sister, Angel (Alex) McKinney; brother, Mikey Foster; uncles, Matt (April) Wedding, and Sonney Hudson; aunts, Darniese (Steve) Datzman and Marlo (Nick) Hamilton; Nieces, Alex (Bradley) Enright and Sophie Wedding; nephew, Jessey (Ramsey) Holder; grandparents, Gary (Carol) Datzman and Marlene (Gene) Powell; many cousins; beloved pets, Lucy and Salvia. JJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, James (Lola) Wedding.

A DC and Marvel themed visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N. First Ave. , Evansville. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Reverend Tyrone Edwards officiating.
